Due to weather, week off, injuries, illness, and mid season break we will be cancelling rugby practice today. Practice will resume Thursday May 13th at our normal time (6pm at our pitch).

Feeders traveled all the way down to Sioux City to take on the Swine this Saturday May 8th. It was a gorgeous day for rugby. The field left a little to be desired by it was square and had posts, what more could we ask for? The swine came out strong, taking advantage of a Feeder team that needed to knock the cobwebs out from the long drive and festivities. They put in two tries within the first 10 minutes of kickoff. The Feeders finally seemed to get their feet under them and answered back with a pair of tries of their own. Each team then scored a try before the half putting the score at 15 - 17. The second half the Feeders were working into a stiff wind. Iowa took advantage of this with a couple nice kicks. Both teams traded tries but when the dust settled the Swine came out ahead. Feeders lost 30 - 36. Tough loss all around.
